Haa Shuká requires constant and stringent adherence to our core Native values.

Sealaska’s land management uses the latest research and science, best practices, and environmental standards. Our timber program supports jobs. Our profits from timber support local communities through scholarships, internships and business.

Our story began in the forests and continues there today with all of our neighbors who call Southeast home. Traditionally, southeast was revered and utilized by Indigenous people. Today only a sliver of the region remains in Native ownership. Sealaska owns 1.5 percent or approximately 362,000 acres.

As Sealaska succeeds, we hope to create prosperity for everyone in Southeast Alaska. Sealaska honors our ancestors by practicing sustainable stewardship.
