Board Youth Advisor
Sealaska established the Board Youth Advisor position in 2009 to give young shareholders a voice to advocate in Sealaska’s boardroom. Advisors serve a one-year term between annual meetings. The position includes some travel for board meetings.
- Be at least 18 years of age but not older than 25 years of age upon date of submission.
- Be a holder of at least one share of Sealaska Class A, B or C settlement common stock and/or Class D Descendants’ Life Estate Stock of the Corporation.
- Have completed a minimum of 2 years of college at an accredited community college, junior college, or university; or 2 years of comparable work experience; or two years of military service.

Meet the Current Board Youth Advisor
Aidan is a current Stanford University student, studying civil engineering. He graduated from West Anchorage High School and has received the Sealaska scholarship award since 2014.
Aidan is Tlingit, Yeil (Raven), Ganaxteidi (yaa hit) Whale House, and his Native name is Yadakla.
