Tiadola (Tlingit) is Eagle of the Shangukeidi (Thunderbird clan), child of the Deisheetaan (Beaver clan) and grandchild of the Teikweidi (Brown Bear clan). She carries the name Glúdas from her late Great Grandpa Peter Jack Sr. of Angoon. Tiadola is the daughter of Jeremy Martin and Juanita Silva. Her roots come from Angoon and Kake. She currently lives in Juneau.

Tiadola graduated from Northwest Indian College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Native Environmental Science. Due to the pandemic, she moved back to Angoon during her last two quarters of her senior year. In the winter of 2021, she moved to Juneau to work for Central Council of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. She currently works for the Native Lands and Resources as an Environmental Stewardship Technician. Silva also sits on the Tlingit & Haida Youth Commission Board as the newly elected 1st vice president. This experience allows her to connect with her peers to discuss ongoing events happening in Alaska.
