A Commitment to Success

As the largest for-profit, private employer in Southeast Alaska, Sealaska is a vital contributor to the region's economy and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide.

Sealaska also recognizes the importance of supporting our Native people and enforces a shareholder employment policy. According to this policy, Sealaska will give preference to a shareholder over a non-shareholder candidate, but only in that instance where there are two equally qualified applicants. We support shareholder hiring in all of our offices, subsidiaries, manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations, but encourage all to apply.
Aside from job postings, Sealaska offers other benefits to help our shareholders succeed in the modern world. Since 1981, Sealaska has paid more than $8.9 million in scholarships benefiting hundreds of shareholders and their descendants. Sealaska also provides job training and work experience through a variety of internships.

To view information on these other benefits, please visit the Shareholder Benefits page or click on the links below.
