Native Summit

Southeast Alaska Native Summit: Confronting Our Energy and Economic Crisis

Sealaska Corporation, along with the Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority and the Alaska Municipal League, sponsored the Southeast Alaska Native Summit on November 14–15, 2005.

Government, business and Native leaders convened at Centennial Hall in Juneau, Alaska, for the event. The Summit explored the challenges facing Southeast Alaska communities regarding economic sustainability and identified possible solutions.
