At its heart, the Sealaska land legislation is a jobs, conservation and Native cultural bill that protects desperately needed jobs for Southeast Alaska residents and preserves conservation areas.

Take action now! Add your name to our list of supporters and tell your congressional delegation that you support our land bill. Click here to view the current list of people who support our Land Legislation. Click here to view the list of businesses who support our Land Legislation.

The legislation will fulfill Sealaska’s final land conveyances as promised 40 years ago under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).

The legislation is in Congress! Senators Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich and Representatives Don Young and Dan Boren introduced companion versions of the Southeast Alaska Native Land Entitlement Finalization and Jobs Protection Act to the Senate (S.730) and House (H.R. 1408), respectively.
