Ed Rivera has 30 years of experience in manufacturing, finance, sales,
marketing and business development with companies such as Shell
Chemical, Union Carbide, Amoco Chemical and Nypro, Inc. As such, he has
extensive knowledge of the petrochemical value chain.
Fluent
in both English and Spanish, Rivera is responsible for the development
and implementation of an effective sales and marketing program for the
Nypro Kánaak joint venture operations in Guadalajara, Iowa and Alabama.
In addition, he is vice chair of the foundation for the University of
Texas–Pan American, one of the largest Hispanic universities in the
United States.

Born in Brownsville, Texas, Ed holds a bachelor's degree in
chemical engineering from the University of Houston and a master's in
business administration from Harvard University.
