Derik Frederiksen

General Manager, Sealaska Environmental Services

Derik Frederiksen has been general manager of Sealaska Environmental Services since its inception in 2003.
 
“As a shareholder, former intern and past scholarship recipient, I have a strong interest in the cultural, social and financial future of Sealaska. I feel honored and privileged to be able to use my background in environmental management to give back to the Corporation as a leader of Sealaska Environmental Services.”

Born and raised in the Seattle area, Derik is Tsimshian (Raven/Frog.) He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Bachelor of Science in forestry resources, both from the University of Washington. He earned his master's in environmental management from Yale University.
