E. Budd Simpson has represented Sealaska as its principal outside legal counsel since 1978. He is a partner in the law firm Simpson, Tillinghast, Sorenson.
Budd
has also been very active in the Southeast Alaska community, holding
positions on a variety of boards and committees. He has been the
director of the Juneau Docks and Harbors Board, a trustee and former
president of the Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation, director and
former president of the Southeast Alaska Area Council Boy Scouts of
America, and a member of the Alaska Bar Association Fee Arbitration
Executive Committee.
He holds a bachelor’s degree
from California State University and a Juris Doctorate from the
University of California Hastings College of the Law.
