Edward K. Thomas Gives Keynote Address at Council for Tribal Employment Rights Conference

Thomas’ speech acknowledged the importance of Native employment and labor laws, and discussed the multi-faceted issues that affect Natives in the job market. Recognizing the current socio-political barriers, Thomas encouraged Native citizens to seek new ways to involve tribal members in meaningful employment.

His speech was addressed to over 300 tribal and federal government representatives, attorneys and building trade union representatives.
