Tongass Futures Roundtable February Meeting and Work Session
Sealaska encourages tribal member shareholders to attend an upcoming meeting that will explore the Tongass National Forest as a Native Place.
On February 23-24, 2010, the Tongass Futures Roundtable will have a work session in Juneau on the Unique Role of Native People in Southeast Alaska. Potential topics discussed at this work session include understanding Native perspectives, history and way of life, understanding village life today, developing sustainable economic opportunities in Native communities, creating public land management that better reflects Native perspectives, and much more.

Tuesday, February 23, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Following the work session, Tongass Futures Roundtable will hold its February 2010 meeting on Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26. These meetings will be held at Temple Sukkat Shalom located at 211 Cordova Street in West Juneau.
