ProgramMore than 5,500 Alaskans pledged more than $545,000 from their 2009 Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) through the Pick.Click.Give. program. The PFD Charitable Contributions Program, or Pick.Click.Give., provides an opportunity for Alaskans to share all or a portion of their PFD with nonprofit organizations.Sealaska encourages you to consider sharing some of your 2010 PFD with organizations that do important charitable work. Many nonprofits eligible for the Pick.Click.Give. program provide services across the state, even in rural Alaska. Sealaska Heritage Institute has been added to the list of nonprofits eligible for charitable contributions. You can make a donation while filling out your PFD application. Simply click the text "do you want to make a charitable contribution" toward the end of the application. Choose Judicial District 1. SHI is about halfway down and listed as Sealaska Heritage Foundation. All donations help fund SHI programs.
