Haa Shagoon recognizes the bonds between our ancestors, current generation and future generations. In that spirit the Sealaska Board of Directors recently adopted a resolution to establish a Youth Advisor position on the board. The youth advisor will serve a one-year term on the board. The successful appointed shareholder will provide non-voting input to the board and will gain valuable board membership training.The application and guidelines for the Youth Advisor position will be available approximately by September 1, 2009 on www.sealaska.com. The deadline will occur in 2010 and will be clearly indicated when the application becomes available.
