Record High Participation at Celebration 2008Sealaska and Sealaska Heritage Institute would like to thank our shareholders, dancers, artists, Elders, youth and the greater Southeast Alaska community for participating in Celebration 2008.Thanks to you, we continue to share our traditions and perpetuate our cultures through the Sealaska Heritage Institute. This year's Celebration had record high participation, with more than 6,000 in attendance and 2,300 dancers. Celebration is one of Alaska's most popular attractions.
