Home > Director Ed Thomas Honored at CCTHITA’s 73rd Annual General AssemblyDirector Ed Thomas was recently honored at the 73rd Annual General Assembly of Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (CCTHITA). Thomas was unanimously elected president emeritus at a dinner held in his honor.The gathering, held at ANB Hall in Juneau, comprised of 122 CCTHITA delegates from Southeast Alaska, San Francisco, Seattle and Anchorage to conduct tribal business and elect tribal officers. Thomas served as CCTHITA’s president from 1984-2007. He has been a member of Sealaska’s board of directors since 1993.
