Sealaska Corporation announced today Sam Landol has been appointed the Corporation’s Chief Operating Officer, effective February 19, 2007. His primary responsibilities include Sealaska’s current manufacturing and service-providing subsidiaries.
Prior to Sealaska Landol served as president of European operations for Nypro, Inc., one of the world’s leading global precision molders. Landol led Nypro’s operations in six countries, including France, Ireland, UK, Hungary, Finland and Russia. Nypro is a partner with Sealaska in Nypro Kánaak, one of the largest injection molders in the United States to be certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
“Sealaska is pleased with Sam’s successful track record and leadership in growing companies globally,” said Sealaska President and CEO Chris McNeil, Jr. “He brings proven talent for increasing market share with innovative strategies across multiple sectors on multiple continents.”
Landol will be charged with expanding Sealaska’s customer base by emphasizing the company’s diversity supply programs, according to McNeil. “As a minority-owned company, Sealaska and its subsidiaries qualify as a diversity supplier for many Fortune 500 companies.”
“In addition, his experience with implementation of corporate lean programs will lead to increased profitability of our companies,” said McNeil.

Landol is a graduate of the Pratt Institute and Harvard Business School, where he maintains an advisory relationship as a visiting lecturer to the MBA program. As president of Nypro, Inc. Europe, Landol organized a new global health care group with a seamless global organization. As President of Nypro, Latin America, Landol has also expanded market share for Nypro in the company’s Latin America region. Landol has held many volunteer positions including President of the Puerto Rico Manufactures Association, Director of Puerto Rico Community Foundation and Director of the Clinton Massachusetts Hospital Foundation.
