Shareholders Encouraged to Enroll in Identity Theft Prevention ServiceThe security of shareholder personal information is, of course, an extremely high priority for all of us in this time of increased identity theft. Identity theft is a term referring to someone wrongfully obtaining another person’s personal data in some way that involves fraud or deception, typically for economic gain. Identity theft is a crime.Sealaska is taking affirmative measures to prevent identity theft from occurring to our tribal member shareholders. Sealaska will provide LifeLock identity theft protection services to shareholders at Sealaska’s expense through July 17, 2009. Services include both the protection against identity theft and a $1 Million Total Service Guarantee should an actual identity theft occur. It is imperative that shareholders enroll as soon as possible to ensure protection of your identity. The enrollment period will expire October 17, 2008. This is an absolute deadline under our agreement with Lifelock. If you would like this protection, do not delay. You should call 1-877-509-5357 or visit LifeLock’s website at www.lifelock.com to enroll. Use code sealaska when enrolling. When asked for a member ID, provide your Sealaska Shareholder ID number. Telephone representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions you may have regarding their services. As soon as you complete the enrollment process, your coverage will begin. Upon enrolling, fraud alert requests will be placed at the three major credit bureaus and will automatically be renewed every 90 days for one year.
