Lauve Gladstone, 2015 Sealaska Intern

“My internship with Sealaska is one I never expected; from my humanities major to my nonprofit experience, breaking into the corporate world is a new and uncertain journey that Sealaska has made spectacular. Working with Haa Aani this summer, I have learned new skills on the topics of finance, sustainability, economic development, and natural resources. These skills will help me immeasurably as I pursue a career in law focusing on Native firms in environmental industries. Overall, my internship been more than just a beautiful summer in Southeast; it’s helped me narrow my future career and given me an expanded business skillset I couldn’t have received elsewhere.”
