Sealaska Constructors removed several large boulders in the Elwha River in the Olympic National Park. This allowed salmon to return to their historic habitat for the first time in more than 100 years. The Elwha Dam was built in the early 1900s. The full Elwha ecosystem restoration project hopes to restore what was once a legendary King Salmon run.
